1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow websites to remember information about your visit, such as your login state and preferences.
2. How OrivenAI uses cookies and similar storage
OrivenAI uses three categories. You choose the optional ones in Cookie settings, which you can open again at any time from the footer.
3. Categories
- Essential (always on): your sign-in session (stored by our authentication provider, Supabase), your workspace preferences, and your cookie choice itself (orv_consent_v1, kept until you change it). Without these the service doesn’t work.
- Statistics (on, you can switch it off): OrivenAI’s own page statistics. No cookies are set and no IP address is stored; a visitor code that changes every day is calculated on our server. To remember how you first arrived until you sign up, the first page, referring domain and campaign tags are kept in your browser tab (sessionStorage: orv_first_touch_v1), which is cleared when you close the tab. A Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal switches statistics off.
- Advertising (off unless you accept): Google Ads cookies (for example _gcl_au) to measure the results of our ads. The Google Ads tag isn’t loaded until you accept. Withdrawing consent stops it and removes these cookies from orivenai.com.
4. Managing your choices
Open Cookie settings to accept or reject advertising and to switch statistics on or off. Your browser settings can also block or delete cookies; blocking essential storage may stop you from staying signed in.
